Stanford Paper

Last month, KiteEdge were pleased to discover that our views on the need for technology related change across the Asset Management space were shared by the Global Project Center (GPC) at Stanford University in Palo Alto. The GPC collaborates with governments and industry in pursuit of the necessary insights to develop and sustain strategic assets, both physical and intellectual, through projects that are core to modern economic growth and development. They work with asset owners on technology related issues, and had published a paper on “The Technological Investor: Deeper Innovation Through Reorientation“.

Pages 47 – 55 contain an almost exact description of the Apex platform we are building – a search mechanism to share content/IP across complex, global asset management enterprises. Since learning about the paper, KiteEdge have been working with Dr. Ashby Monk (Executive and Research Director) and Dane Rook (Post-Doctoral Researcher) on potential collaborations. Further details of which will be announced shortly.
